The Ultimate Guide to Solar Panels & Inverters in Singapore (2025 Edition) Introduction: Why Solar Energy is the Future of Singapore Singapore’s push toward sustainable
Project Overview:
COSCO Shipyard (Qidong) Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. invested 3.2 billion yuan to build an offshore engineering manufacturing base in the Qidong Shipbuilding Industrial Park. The project covers an area of 101.8 hectares, with an annual construction scale of 6 offshore platforms of various types, 10 offshore platform modules, and an annual steel processing volume of about 130,000 tons. This major project uses our company’s BKT reactive compensation device, which once again reflects the brand influence of Tysen-KLD in the power automation industry.
The total planned area of the COSCO Shipyard Qidong Offshore Base Project is about 1 million square meters. It has 1 offshore dock equipped with 1 600-ton gantry crane; 2 offshore slideways equipped with 2 200-ton gantry cranes; 1 new material, outfitting, and offshore slideway transport dock, with a total length of 1,200 meters; equipped with cutting and processing and component assembly and welding workshops, segmented assembly and welding workshops, painting workshops, pipe workshops, electromechanical workshops and other facilities.
Our company’s BKT reactive compensation device:
Product Introduction:
BKT series dynamic filter compensation components are composed of low-voltage power capacitors, filter reactors, and thyristor switching devices. They are designed for reactive power compensation and filtering in distribution systems with rapid load changes and harmonic pollution. The rapid switching scheme makes the system voltage stable and safe, and can avoid damage to electrical equipment, noise, and transient phenomena.
Main advantages:
Fast response speed, response time is less than 20ms;
Reasonable configuration of capacitors and reactors can simultaneously achieve the purpose of reactive power compensation and filtering some harmonics;
Use low-voltage power capacitors with higher rated voltage: 7%BKT series compensation filter components use 480V capacitors, 14%BKT series compensation filter components use 525V capacitors, which are more stable and reliable in 400V distribution systems;
Use H-class insulation filter reactors, low power consumption and high reliability;
The installation layout in the cabinet is highly autonomous, and other auxiliary devices are self-configured and flexible to select.
Applications:
BKT series dynamic filter compensation components are suitable for distribution systems with rapid and frequent changes in reactive power, such as welding equipment and impact load applications.
Reactance rate is 7%: BKT series filter compensation components with a tuning frequency of 189Hz can effectively suppress 5th and above harmonic pollution while quickly providing reliable reactive compensation.
Reactance rate is 14%: BKT series filter compensation components with a tuning frequency of 134Hz can effectively suppress 3rd and above harmonic pollution while quickly providing reliable reactive compensation.
